Ghorepani Mardi Himal Trek Itinerary

  • Day 01

    Arrival at Kathmandu

    Upon your arrival in Kathmandu, our representative will pick you up at the airport and drive to the assigned hotel where you will meet the rest of the group. The hotel is located in a quiet quaint neighborhood, where you can enjoy shopping, restaurants, and cafes.

    You will be at an altitude of 1,400 meters (4,593 feet), where you can rest and acclimatize to the altitude.

    Please look for the I.A.M TREKKING board at the opposite railing of the terminal.

  • Day 02

    Drive/flight to Pokhara

    On the second day, you will embark on a drive or a short 30-minute flight to Pokhara, located at an altitude of 820 meters (2,690 feet). The journey takes approximately 6-7 hours by road or a quick flight.

  • Day 03

    Drive to Tikhedhunga - Trek to Banthanti

    From Pokhara, you will drive to Tikhedhunga and begin your trek to Banthanti. Tikhedhunga sits at an altitude of 1,540 meters (5,052 feet), while Banthanti is at 2,210 meters (7,251 feet) above sea level. The drive to Tikhedhunga takes about 3 hours, followed by a 3-hour trek to Banthanti.

    Trek to Ghorepani

    Trek to Poonhill view - Back to Tadapani

The total walking time for the day is about 45 minutes to Poonhill view and an additional 6 hours to reach Tadapani.
